Warsaw will host the 5th ECTP conference"Let’s Construct Europe’s Future With Innovative Buildings and Infrastructures" which will take place on the 4th and 5th of October 2011 at the Radisson Blu hotel.
The Conference is under the patronage of the Polish National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU and is supported by the European Commision.

Prioritization matrix of Research & Development topics is now available to downloading on ICT4E2B Forum website.
ICT4E2B Forum is assigned to consult with relevant stakeholders about research priorities in the area of ICT for Energy Efficient Buildings. The findings will be considered for planning future research programs in the area.
Currently, electricity is mainly generated by a few far-off high-capacity generators. However, due to environmental concerns, electrical energy is increasingly being produced by small scale generators located close to the point-of-use. This decentralized model for energy generation will bring with it many challenges to maintain grid robustness.
