D’Appolonia S.p.A. provides integrated engineering services to industries, governmental bodies, public administrations and research organizations in the sectors of environment, energy, oil and gas, infrastructures, transport and innovation. D’Appolonia has a staff of over 350 engineers with main offices in Italy, USA, Russia, China, UAE, and Egypt.
D’Appolonnia develops specific engineering software and custom tools to support clients in the design of complex systems, definition of the best technological solutions, and development of innovation re-search. D’appolonia is member of the European Construction
Technology Platform (ECTP), and actively participates in the work for the development of a strategic vision for the construction industry. D’Appolonia is also in the board of the Italian Construction Technology Platform (PTIC) and is responsible for the focus area dedicated to
SME. The company is also a founding member of the Energy Efficient Buildings Joint Technology Initiative (E2B JTI). Together with Acciona, Bouygues, Saint Gobain and other major European stakeholders D’Appolonia is working on the strategic roadmap in order to deliver, implement and optimise building and district concepts to drastically cut the energy consumption and reduce CO2 emissions. Moreover the company is involved in several EU project related to ICT and Energy efficiency as H2susbuild, Messib, E3Soho, Energy Warden, among others.
